Why Our Price Is Already Right
The Hidden Costs Other Quotes Don't Show You
A lower number on paper doesn't mean a lower total cost. Here's what we see when customers bring us competing quotes — and why our all-in price consistently wins on real value.
"Allowances" Instead of Fixed Prices
Many quotes include vague "allowances" for countertops or hardware. When the real cost comes in, the price jumps. Our quotes are line-by-line — every item is priced, nothing is estimated.
Installation Not Included
Some cabinet companies quote supply-only. You'll need to hire a separate installer — adding $2,000–$5,000+ to the real cost. Our price includes professional installation by our own crews.
Countertops Quoted Separately
If you're getting cabinets from one company and countertops from another, you're managing two timelines, two schedules, and two sets of potential delays. Our quote covers both — coordinated.
No Sink Cutout or Plumbing
Some countertop quotes don't include the sink cutout, plumbing disconnect/reconnect, or cleanup. Ours does — standard. No surprise add-ons at the end.
What's Always Included in Our Quote
When you compare our quote to another company's, make sure their quote includes all of the above. If it doesn't, you're not comparing the same thing.

Simple 3-Step Process
How Our Price Comparison Works
Get a Written Quote
Obtain a detailed, written quote from any licensed, insured Kansas City area cabinet or countertop company for the same scope of work.
We Compare Line by Line
Bring the quote to your consultation. We'll review it line by line — materials, labor, installation, and what's included vs. excluded — so you can see exactly what you're comparing.
Apples-to-Apples Match
If the scope truly matches — same materials, same installation, same service level — we'll match or beat their price. No gimmicks, no fine print.
The Real Math
What a "Cheaper" Quote Actually Costs
Most homeowners compare the first number they see. Here's what happens when you compare the real total.
Typical "Lower" Quote
+ scheduling delays, finger-pointing between companies, and no single point of accountability
KC Cabinetry & Stone Quote
One company, one timeline, one price. The number you see is the number you pay.
Price ranges shown are for a typical 20–28 cabinet kitchen with granite or quartz countertops. Your exact quote is calculated during your free consultation.
Our Confidence
Why Our Customers Stop Shopping After They See Our Quote
We encourage you to get multiple quotes — because the comparison usually ends in our favor. As a one-stop shop with our own installation crews, we eliminate the middlemen and markup layers that inflate costs at other companies.
But the real reason customers choose us isn't just price. It's certainty. The number on our quote is the number you pay. No allowances that balloon later. No surprise installation fees. No separate countertop invoice. Everything is itemized, locked, and in writing before we touch your kitchen.
Most customers who compare quotes find we're already the best value — and the price comparison guarantee exists so you can verify that for yourself.

Common Questions
Price Comparison FAQ
Does this apply to online-only retailers?
No. Our price comparison applies to local Kansas City area companies that provide the same full-service experience — supply AND professional installation. Online box-shippers don't include installation, project management, or warranty support, so it's not an apples-to-apples comparison.
What if the competitor's quote uses different materials?
The materials must be comparable. For example, we won't match a laminate countertop quote against our granite or quartz — those are different products at different price points. If you're unsure, bring both quotes to your consultation and we'll walk through the differences with you.
What if the other quote is cheaper but doesn't include installation?
That's the most common scenario we see. A supply-only quote will always look cheaper — until you add the cost of hiring a separate installer ($2,000–$5,000+), coordinating schedules, and managing the project yourself. We'll help you calculate the true total cost so you can make an informed decision.
Can I use this after I've already signed a contract?
Yes — if you find a lower qualifying quote within 15 days of signing your contract with us, we'll review it and adjust your price if the scope matches. We want you to feel confident you got the best value.
Why don't you just offer the lowest price upfront?
We do. Our pricing is already competitive because we handle cabinets, countertops, and installation under one roof — no middlemen, no markup layers. The price comparison guarantee exists so you can verify that for yourself. Most customers who compare find we're already the best value before the match even applies.
