How does wireless charging work through a countertop?
FreePower technology uses Qi-standard wireless charging coils installed beneath the stone surface during fabrication. The charging field passes through the stone, allowing you to charge any Qi-compatible device by simply placing it on the countertop surface. No modifications to the visible surface are required.
What devices are compatible?
Any Qi-compatible device works — iPhone 8 and newer, Samsung Galaxy S6 and newer, AirPods, Galaxy Buds, and most modern wireless earbuds. If your device charges on a standard wireless pad, it will charge on your countertop.
Does it work with phone cases?
Yes. FreePower works through most standard phone cases up to 3mm thick. Only metal cases or cases with metal plates (like magnetic car mount plates) will interfere with charging.
What countertop materials are compatible?
FreePower works with quartz, granite, quartzite, marble, and ultra-compact surfaces (Dekton, Neolith). The stone thickness must be 3cm or less for optimal charging performance. We handle all compatibility during the fabrication process.
Can it be added to existing countertops?
