Full Kitchen Renovation in Leawood, KS
Annie's Leawood kitchen still had the old desk and mail station that older kitchens love. We did a complete demo and rebuilt the room around how the family actually uses it, in approximately 5 days.
The cabinets
Dove White shaker cabinets, stacked, with a stacked crown profile running to the ceiling around the perimeter, so every inch of wall does a job. The island goes the other way: Ebony shaker with big drawer bases, a dark anchor in the middle of all that white. Every cabinet has 1/2" plywood boxes, solid wood dovetail drawer boxes, full extension soft-close glides and soft-close hinges.
The coffee bar
The old desk and mail station is now a small coffee bar.
The countertops
We kept the original quartz. We removed the existing countertops carefully, cleaned and refreshed them, and reinstalled them with a new deep sink and faucet.
The backsplash
A modern subway tile, installed by us to bring the whole room together.
The details
We uninstalled and reinstalled the appliances, set a new microwave and a new gas stove, completed the electrical updates for the new appliances, and ran LED lighting under the cabinets.
